Training Influences
Narrative therapy was with Amanda Kamsler, David Epston, Alan Jenkins and Esther Myro. Solution Focused training has been through Eve Lipchik (US), Brian Cade, Michael Durrant and (Prof.) Brian Innes. This was at both workshop and Master’s levels.

Child Sexual Assault training was with Esther Myro and the Dymphna House team, and workshops from Gillian Smith-Cameron, Carol Boland and Cathy Want.

Work with adolescent perpetrators is influenced by training with Alan Jenkins, Steve Armstrong and Toni Cavanagh Johnson (USA). Domestic violence survivors training was through Karen Lenehan and Karen Tuxford, Margaret Condonis, Liz Shaw and Eve Lipchik (Milwaukee).

Bereavement, grief and loss training was from (Prof.) Bev Rafael, but was also influenced by workshops with Margaret Appleby, Doug Barnes, John Howard and Mal McKissock.

Emotionally Focussed training has been through Michelle Webster in Sydney.

Peter has a major in Psychology, and a double major in Sociology from the University of New England. He also has a clinical Master's degree in counselling from the University of Western Sydney.

His Family Therapy training was at Masters level through (Prof.) Brian Innes at his Liverpool clinic, annexed to the University of Western Sydney, and was presented as part of the M.A. in Psychology from that University.
